The BMXP ball mill is the ideal equipment for achieving efficient and uniform refining of chocolates and similar masses with relatively low fat content.
It can work as a single refining element (installed after a mixer), although it best develops its characteristics in combination with our Universal Mixer-Refiner-Conche, either installed separately or as part of a complete and compact Unicom group.
Technology and operation
Innovation for precise refining
The refining of the mass is achieved through the combination of the rotation of two shafts equipped with discs and the micro beads housed in the grinding chamber. The design and arrangement of these elements produces the effect of forcing the mass fed from bottom to top by pump to remain the required time in said chamber, thereby achieving fineness reduction to the desired levels with a homogeneous particle size distribution.
The grinding chamber design features a figure-eight cross-section, allowing a substantial increase in the cold transfer surface of the double bottom, with cooling water circulating through it via an exclusive configuration. All grinding materials incorporate a high wear-resistance treatment. The equipment incorporates an automated centralized lubrication system, reducing maintenance tasks.
